TIBET GIRLS SCHOOL BENEFIT GREAT SUCCESS Thanks to All Who are Helping Rebuild Tibet Girls School Due to the tragic events of April 14, 2010, our spring benefit focused on raising money to help care for our students and rebuild our school. We are delighted to report that our Spring Benefit raised more than $12,000 toward caring for our students and their families after the earthquake tragedy and to rebuild Tibet Girls School! Our deepest thanks and appreciation to the Tsogyaling Board of Directors, all the volunteers, the amazing staff at The Stained Glass Bistro, everyone who contributed auction items, and a room full of lovely guests and donors for a terrific evening. We are well on our way toward building a bigger, better school for our girls. Exceptional, original works of art including an original signed and numbered Ed Paschke print, as well as works from Linda Warren Gallery, Tanya Sugarman and others One week's rental of a private vacation villa on Amelia Island, Florida's premier resort destination (photos below) A bicycle from Turin Bicycle Shop, including the full Turin support package for fittings, tune-ups and more Dining gift packages from Evanston favorites, like Mount Everest and Futami Memberships, classes or gifts from some of Chicago's best: The Chopping Block, Old Town School of Folk Music, Unabridged Bookstore and Marguerite Gardens Office furniture from Lemoi Ace Hardware of Evanston Manicure/pedicure from Oksana Classes and private sessions in yoga, shiatsu, massage from practitioners at Heartwood Center ...and much more Photos came in just days before the earthquake showing the girls with the computers purchased this year with the generous donations of Tibet Girls School supporters.
